Starbucks Design System

A modular design system made to anchor a global digital strategy.

The design language has been a jumping off point for 100% of the design work for Starbucks Global Digital Products over the past 6 years. The initial desire to fix the crowded and unreachable navigation of the previous version turned into an overhaul led by our team. In the fall of 2018 we finally shipped the final touches in the US, but only after shipping in Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam, China, Japan, Belgium, France, Mexico, South Africa, Sweden amongst others. More recently, the design system has informed much of the design direction of the Starbucks Creative Studio's marketing efforts.
